A. Information for Phone & Delivery Orders
When you place an order over the phone or through a third-party delivery service (like DoorDash or UberEats), we temporarily handle information necessary to complete your transaction:
Contact Number: Used only to confirm your order or address an immediate issue with the order. This number is not retained for marketing purposes.
Delivery Address: Used solely for delivering your order to the correct location.
Order Details: Specific items purchased and payment confirmation (payment details themselves are processed by the payment provider, not stored by us).
B. In-Store Information (Non-Personal)
For transactions made directly at the deli counter:
Payment Card Information: If you pay by credit/debit card, your transaction is processed securely by our point-of-sale (POS) system. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or PIN.
Transaction Data: We track purchases, timing, and sales volume for inventory and accounting purposes. This data is not linked to any personal identifier.
C. Website or Mobile App Use (If Applicable)
If you access our website or a mobile app for menus or online ordering, we may collect non-personal data:
Usage Data: Information about how you navigate the site (e.g., pages viewed, time spent), used only to improve our digital interface.
We use the limited information we collect exclusively for the following purposes:
Order Fulfillment: To prepare and deliver your items accurately and efficiently.
Customer Service: To contact you immediately regarding a discrepancy with a current order (e.g., an item is out of stock).
Business Operations: For inventory management, financial record-keeping, and analyzing sales trends to ensure we stock what our community wants.
Please note that when you use a third-party application (like DoorDash, Seamless, Grubhub, etc.) to place an order, your data is governed by their respective privacy policies. We only receive the necessary information (address, phone number) to fulfill and dispatch the order.
Retention: Phone numbers and addresses associated with completed orders are kept only for a limited, standard business period for accounting and dispute resolution, and are then securely discarded or anonymized. We do not maintain customer profiles for marketing.
Security: We use encrypted, industry-standard POS systems for secure payment processing. Access to customer data is limited to authorized personnel necessary to manage operations.
Our services are for general public use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 13. If a minor places an order, we handle the transaction data as described above.
